This Project was an interim relocation of the east terminal for temporary use while a new terminal was being built. The projects main hurdle was to renovate an abandoned terminal. Work included interior and exterior demolition, new walls, finishes and ceilings, all new electrical service, security systems, fire alarm and paging systems, removal of existing escalators and installation of new escalators, and refurbish of heavily stained, existing terrazzo flooring and staircase. The existing elevator was brought back into service. Site work included installation of concrete ramps, medians and exterior signage. Exterior canopies for pedestrian protection were also installed.
