About Us Pecos Construction Ltd. is a full-service, self-perform general contractor based in Plano, Texas that offers general contracting, pre-construction, construction management and design-build services. The company is registered with the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency as well as with the Historically Underutilized Business Program as a minority-owned firm. Pecos was created in January 2003 by five supervisors with the encouragement of their employers at Hill & Wilkinson Ltd., one of the top general contractors in the area and an investor in the new company. The four owners -- Mike Green, President, Servando Morales, Vice President, Jesus Gonzalez, supervisor, Richard Hernandez, supervisor -- have more than 60 years of construction experience between them. Many minority-owned construction companies are sole proprietorships or very small businesses that can only handle limited subcontracting jobs; but the government and private sectors offer much more opportunity to those with the capacity to manage complex projects and deliver high-quality, safe and on-time work. Pecos has that capacity and stands ready to fill the void.With bonding of up to $70 million per job and a formal Mentor/Protege relationship with Hill & Wilkinson, Pecos Construction is capable of servicing large, complex projects, as well as handling smaller jobs for building owners, other general contractors and construction management firms that need a quality self-perform subcontractor.
